Definately electrical connection problem.wiggle fuse box and wires w/ car on in park to see if problem occurs.Check ground wire connections under dash and on other side of firewall/bulkhead.Sometimes ground posts corrode or loosen. An exposed +wire may be bumping or touching metal. You'll have to carefully move wires around under dash untill you see the problem occur

After goings over a bump, why did headlights, tail lights and some dash lights go off and alternator light came on?

You must have a very loose electrical connection somewhere which is breaking contact every time you hit a decent bump. Have the main electrical cables to the battery checked carefully for condition, make sure the cable connections to the battery terminals are very clean and tight and check all power connections and wiring at the alternator. Then recheck if you are still getting an electrical power loss when you hit a bump.

If you are losing headlights and tail lights etc and getting the alternator warning you should be experiencing a loss of electrical power to the engine(coils, spark plugs and fuel injectors) and engine computer also.

The radio and power windows do not work when I start truck. Sometimes if you hit a bumb or hit dash above radio all starts working

as going over a bump etc can make the components work ther eis obviously a loose connection , have you had any work done to vehicle in the dash area ,electrical or otherwise ? if not this will probably be a time consuming fix as will have to trace wiring from window switch back to dash and radio as well they probably have a common connector in there somewhere keep me posted if you wish

Heater not blowing hot air

Hmm, sounds like your heating unit is gone. They are located behind the dash, usually behind the glove box. The heating unit is not an easy fix. Now If there is NO air at all, the actual blower unit is gone, also, not an easy fix, located also behind the dash, the common problem in the blower unit is the Copper Bushes. They wear down and no longer make contact with the blower motor, causing it to stop. Now for the heater unit, i will basically tell you this, take it to an Auto Electrician either way. I am one by trade, but can not help you over the internet to fix it as requires a lot of pulling your dash apart, i will save you the trouble and just take it to an expert to repair.

My heater in my 2002 Hyundai Accent quit blowing. I took the dash out where the stereo is to see what I could find and my dash lights quit working. I thought I had a lose wire of some sort because...

what you need is a new blower motor. It is located under/behind the glove box. The reason that it comes on when you hit a bump is because it jars the brushes in the blower motor to make better contact then when you hit another bump it losses contact.

I have a 04 Toyota Tacoma. I have short in the dimmer switch.

It cold just be a fuse that is loose in the fuse box causing the dash lights to come on and off. Or potentially a loose wire from the fuse box the dash lights.

My a/c works great WHEN it comes on...comes on if fuel tank full sometimes and sometimes when I hit a speed bump...same thing happens with heater and defroster...

more than likely there is a lose conection on one of your switches that control the ac/heat. You will have to pull the part of the dash where they are and make sure that one of the conectors did not come loose. You may have to get a new switch or conector to completly fix the issue.

My 2003 ford super duty loses power to the electrical devices, gauges , radio, odomeder, wipers..when i hit a bump

Likely to find a loose connection to the dash harness, turn on the devices that fail when hitting bumps, and grab the harness and jiggle to make concern appear.  If so, trace to weak connection point.
