Bad wheel bearings are a likely cause. These are easy enough to replace if you work on your own car. They also are rather inexpensive.

Steering is vibrating when ot reaches 100kph & above. What may be the root cause? What is to fix? Thanks

The first thing to have check are the tires, the from tires since the steering is vibrating. Also take your car to have all of the tire balance, if they are out of balance it will vibrate at higher speed. Thos two are the most common issue for a vibrating steering wheel.

Vibration in front end while driving. steering wheel shaking. stops at higher speeds.

Have your tires checked for tread separation and your wheels checked for balance. Out of balance tires will go through harmonics such that at one speed it will vibrate a lot more than at another (higher or lower) speed.

Vibration on 2004 Cadillac Deville

If a hub bearing was bad, it almost always would make noise, more so when changing lanes at higher speed. Outer CV joints make a loud low pitched rattle when turning (corners). Inner CV joints raise hell at high speed- bad shake! Sway links affect cornering and clunk when hitting rough patches of road surface.
Is the vibration worse at 65 than at 50? If so, you are dealing with a wheel balance situation. Find an old time front end shop that will check the balance on the vehicle. You will have to turn off the traction control to do this or use an on-the-car wheel balancer.
If you feel it at some low speeds at it comes back at other higher speeds, then you are dealing with tire roundness. Possible more than 1. More common than we would like.

Front end vibration at 40 mph and rubbing sound

Vibration at 40 mph hard to diagonisis without looking at front end. Could be wheels need balancing, new wheels and rims. Loose or worn suspension items.
Bring vehicle into a tire and alignment shop. Most Sears auto center have them.
With regards to rubbing noise again hard to diagonisis without looking at the affected tire, probably a splash shield hitting the tire in reverse.
Alignment shop will find the problem.

If your tires were not properly balanced then it will cause that. Also, if your rotors are warped then icould cause this to happen. YOu would also notice it when braking if rotors are warped.

Hi, I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla the steering wheel vibrates at any speed.Did wheel alignment but aint got better. Pls advise. Cheers, Anks

Vibration or a "shimmey" is an indication that the tires need to be balanced. This is not related to the wheel alignment you had done A poorly balanced tire will vibrate on its own, transferring the vibration all the way through the steering wheel. Have the tires balanced. If this doesn't fixy your issue, then the problem lies between the rotors (could have a warped rotor) and the rack and pinion. Best of luck on your problem.

Vibration

It sounds like a possible bad front wheel bearing they will make like a humming or growling noise. The pull could be air pressure a little lower in the right front tire than the left front check the air in all tires and if pull is still there take the left front put it on the right front and put the right front tire on the left front.Sometimes tires get what they call radial pull and that will fix it or make it go the other way if it goes the other way either get new tires or put the back tires on the front of the vehicle and put the front tires on the back.

Vibration in steering column

if your vibration comes and goes with different speeds, most likely problem is balance in tires/wheels. a bent wheel often vibrates more with higher speeds. if the vibration is stong in the steering wheel, the problem is normally in the front end, if you feel in more in the seat or body of the car then look to the rear end.
