Question about Hyundai Motor 1995 Accent

1995 hyundai accent hatchback won't open either

When trying to open the hatchback it will not open - I have tried using the remote opener and it sounds like it is working but the hatch does not release and have used the key, still won't open. I have sprayed the lock with wd40

like at all? i have an issue where mine wont close want half of it? lol. i have to tighten the screws on mine in order to make it close. maybe do the opposite?

You might want to replace the two holding levers positioned on the left and right side of the hatchback door.
