Question about 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis
The vent, and fan controls all seem to work, but not the a/c.I have one hot a/c line going in, and a cold line aswell. Took it to the shop, they said it needed a new temperature contol panel module??.. don't wan't to replace it, if this isn't the problem.
When the control module burns out it will only work on one speed.
The models with the automatic temp. control will cost approx. $300.00
Easy to change. You will find it near the blower motor.
