Inside the drivers air bag there are two horn wires 1 on the right and 1 on the left remove the 2 screws holding the air bag/ horn sensor and remove 1 of the wires at a time to find the 1 that is making contact. then re assemble. you will only have the horn sensor on the side still connected.

If the car has an air bag you must disable before taking apart the steering wheel to access the horn switch, dissassemble the steering wheel cover and bend the contacts apart slightly to stop the problem from occuring reassemble and check.

there is a stupid plastic piece inside the steering wheel cover that breaks over time very common. The red wire inserts into that piece, it twist locks in place. Once when it breaks, th horn will blow by itself. and sticks on also. Its 30.00 for the stupid plastic part, and the steering wheel needs to be removed to replace the overpriced thing.

Horn randomly honks(very annoying while your trying to sleep) HELP!

its possible that the relay is the problem as most relays have a second power feed wire,if it shorts to the horn side of the relay it can blow the horn.doesn`t happen very often but it does happen.this could explain the horn blowing without the fuse in.you can get a door key made at a lock smith to solve that problem.

My 1993 Buick Lasabre Car horn doe not work and the two horn buttons on each side OF THE STEERING WHEEL are loose. Please help cant heaR A THING. dO NOT KNOW WHERE THE FUSE BOX OR RELAY SWITCH IS LOCATED.

Fuse box is under the dash to the left of the brake pedal and has a black door on it. If the fuse is ok you might have to unbolt the airbag ( 4 bolts on the back of stering wheel)and check to see if the horn plug is plugged into the steering column. This plug has a spring on the end of it, if its out reinstall in the small hole and turn clockwise til it locks in place.

My horn on my Buick Skylark will not work. It blows every horn fuse we replace. How can I get it to work?

You may have a short circuit in your horn button causing the
fuse to blow when you press the button or in the horn itself.

1. Locate the horn under the hood normally in the front of
the engine compartment.
2. Once you locate the horn, disconnect the wire from the
horn.
3. connect a VOM (Volt Ohm meter) to the horn's wire.
plus(+) side to the wire and negative (-) side to ground
or some metal part on the car.
4, set the VOM to dc voltage and have someone press the
horn button. You should read 12 volts on the VOM, if
not you have a short in the horn button, if you do mread 12 volts
you have a short in the horn. Replace the horn....

95 buick lasabre horn problem

Ever find out what to do with this? I'm running into the same problem and see multiple refrences to it, but not much for follow up on what fixed it. I pulled the fuse for mine, but it kills the trunk release and automatic locks...so I'm not a big fan of that.

Constant horn blowing

Very possibly the horn relay. This is located in the left junction block ( fuse panel) on the left side of dash. Open driver door and you will see a panel cover on the end of dash. On the cover it should list the position of the relay which I believe is on the right of fuse panel. If you try the horn and it sticks on again, try tapping the relay, if stops then that is the problem.
