Question about 2005 Lexus SC300
I hope you must have realized that extra current is causing the bulb to fail. Now-a-days there isonly one fuse for the back lights, so either a higher capacity fuse plus make sure the wiring at the tail has not stiffened up and the insulation cracked. May be there is a short which makes the full current flow through the wiring is causing the bulb to fuse. Best would be to replace the entire tail light assembly wiring with a fresh set......................sodeep

Replace fuse with correct sized circuit breaker.
check for worn, heated, or broken wiring in taillight circuit.
check for proper stoplight bulb orientation and that its not shorting out.
somthing is shorting out-hence the blown fuse.
a circuit breaker is a PATCH and the root problem should be discovered.

Which fuse? Is it the correct amperage for that circuit? If it is, DO NOT use a higher amperage, that is a fire hazard. If it is the ABS, which it sounds like it may be, your pedel make act strange, but is shouldn't be a problem. Most modern cars have an ABS sensor at each wheel, they fail over time as they are exposed to the elements.
