You'll need to have your check engine light scanned to get that code(s) to pinpoint the issue. Anything could cause that light to come on... Bad EGR, bad TPS, bad igntion system, etc

Sounds like your coil packs are going bad. It's a very common problem with Audis. Go to the dealer and buy five new, four to replace, and one as a spare. Trust me you'll need a spare. While you're at it, change the plugs, it's simple and a good habit when you have a coil pack go back.
