P0140 - 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
The causes for a P0140 code are few and unless the wire/s has been damaged, replacing the sensor is usually the smartest thing to do.

2001 oldsmobile getting po140 code

The code is for bank one sensor two not working. The O2 sensor after the catalytic converter is not sending a signal to the computer or the signal is not changing.

Motor is running too fast (code po140)

This code indicates that you have an O2 sensor that's not switching. Check the wiring and conector and if everything looks good most likely the sensor failed.

1997 blazer codes po137 po140 po141

Those codes all deal with oxygen sensor #2 (after the catalytic converter) on bank #1. P0141 deals with the heater circuit of that sensor. I would start by checking the wiring to that sensor. The sensor itself could be bad. The catalytic converter could be also bad although that wouldn't explain the code P0141.

2000 eclipse gt getting a po1400 code and car does not idle right all the time and sometimes it dies. Mechanic said it was ecm, any ideas

PO1400 is not a common code. PO140 however is. PO140 is a oxygen sensor problem, it refers to bank 1 sensor 2 having no activity. This could cause your eclipse to not hold a good idle and possibly to stall. I would have a different mechanic check the car before you spend quite a bit of cash on an ECM as they can cost upwards of 800 dollars
