Question about 2002 Toyota Camry
2000 toyota solara 4 cyl manual
When i was changing my timing belt I started with removing the alternator first, but fdidnt know i had to remove neg battery cable and it shocked, but i didnt think anything of it im inexperienced and i used the manual to replace the timing belt and water pump. Well I replaced my timing belt, (took me 4 days cuz i work full time) and i fired up my car (dont worry i studied that book i timed it right) to realize my
windshield wipers, turn signals, radio, power windows, power locks, and tail lights all do not work. (hazard lights, headlights, and dome light all work.)
I checked all my small fuses but they all good, i rechecked some of the grounds around the car, dusted them off with a wire brush, but they all good.. im confused :(
You blew your ALT 100A fusible link behind the battery in your fuse box.
It is a large white/clear fuse-type square with a clear top. YOu should be able to see the 'fuse' through the clear top has blown.
The fusible link is bolted from the bottom. so you will need to lift the fuse box and pop the lower cover off enough to access the screws holding it on.
The ALT 100A link provides power to all of the items you listed that are inoperative, but the car will run fine without it :)
