CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE WITH DIGITAL VOLT METER.IT SHOULD BE 12.5 VOLTS.IF NOT CHARGE IT OR HAVE BATTERY CHECK OUT OR REPLACE.IF BATTERY GOOD.CHECK BATTERY CABLES FOR TIGHTNESS OR CORROSSION.IF CABLES GOOD.PROBLEM COULD BE FAULTY STARTER OR SOLENOID.TURN OFF RADIO BEFORE REMOVING BATTERY CABLES SO YOU WONT LOSE RADIO CODE TO PLAY RADIO.ALSO HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECKED OUT TO SEE IF IT IS CHARGING THE BATTERY.

SOURCE: 2002 pontiac grand am, new fuel pump and filter, wont start

Is the security light active? If yes it will have to get reprogrammed by the GM dealer as GM has this as a propriatory system... Meaning no one else can work on it.

My 2002 jeep stalls while driving and sometimes wont start. is this the fuel filter?

More likely the fuel pump

If it starts and runs at all, the
filter isn't the issue

Have 2002 grand am that I have not driven in about a month and went to go use it and it will crank over but wont start. The battery is fully charged, checked the fuel relay switch it is good and there...

replace fuel filter than check fuel pressure because it started when u sprayed it so ur problem is in ur fuel delivery -if fuel pressure is still low or none check connection at fuel pump sometimes corrosion builds up between connections if good and full power and no pump pump failure and need to replace good luck

Is it fuel injected or carb??? Try holding the gas pedal to the floor while turning the jeep over. This sometimes makes gas pump thru to the cylinders. Have you changed the fuel filter???? I know alot of jeeps have a fule filter with a bypass back to the tank, and sometimes the filter will be bypassing to the tank instead of the the motor. Check it out?????
