Question about 2005 Saturn SC1

Won't start till the morning

Hey guys, I have the same exact problem. My SC1 1999 won't restart once it has been warmed up. It usually takes a full day for it to start again. It is definitely not a battery problem. Is it a computer problem, or even the starter? Please if you guys take your own cars to a mechanic please tell me what they did to solve it.

My 1997 SC1 would start as if fully charged only after about 5 minutes of cooling off (same as my Busa). If the vehicle draws lots of battery energy when the ignition switch is turned (the headlights dim as if the battery was week) and all you hear is a "tlock" then more than likely the starter solenoid is sticking when the engine gets hot. Age, as well as wear and tear in the vehicle, would cause for the starter, and the starter solenoid, to weaken. When the engine is cool it will start as if the starter was brand new, but after driving the car for a few minutes (about 5-10 minutes) the problem starts. The engine running hotter than normal (ie. cooling system problems, different muffler system, low oil level), no necessary due to engine overheating, will add to the problem. My solution was a new starter ($115) and a starter heat wrap ($20), and I never had that problem again :-)

Hey guys, my caravan started this morning then shut off and won't start again. Heres what I did so far checked fuel pump fuse good, fuel pump relay good swapped with other. Removed neg battery cab

If you have voltage at the fuse and relay, and at the pump, but no fuel pressure, I would say the pump has died or the tank is empty.
Have you checked for voltage at the pump yet ?

Have a '94 S-10 Blazer Tahoe 4X4 and it starts

My suspicion is a starter going bad. Sometimes when starters get old and worn they will start good when the engine is cold but not when the engine is warmed up. Did you perhaps notice that lately is seemed to drag when you tried starting, especially warm or it seemed to crank a little slower? I'd replace the starter. Hope this helps.

I have a 2003 Grand Caravan Sport 3.8L. When I turn on my wipers, they'll turn on and eventually shut off - when they shut off, the windows, radio, AC/Fan all go off as well. Restarting the car...

cars r very complex these days--scan car 1st with a tech ll that runs a data stream-other instriments just giv a general direction--probly a module for the wipers needs replacin or reprogrammin

Truck starts, runs great, and sometimes won't start up again till the next day...Why?...battery is good...could it be fuel filter?

when you say it won't start again until the next day? does that mean after turning your truck off it won't start immediately? After a couple of hours of sitting have you tried it again. Are you sure your truck is running fine? is there a sulfur smell or extra warm coming form the floor? It could be your catalytic converter which is clogged, when the truck is cold.. you are getting enough exhaust escaping allowing the truck to run, but it will be very restrictive and I highly doubt that you are getting good acceleration, once this is hot is so restricted that it will not allow the truck to restart.
This can be a serious condition and if parked over dry grass or trash could actually start a fire. Take you vehicle to a respectable exhaust specialist.
