Check for bad flasher, or lost ground. if not pull the entire light assembly off the vehicle and there is a clipped in plastic plate in the back of the rear assembly that houses the bulbs. this plate has metal bars that run thorough the inside of it to control the individual bulbs..IE some work, others dont. what happens is the plastic plate gets too hot and disloges the bars, or causes corrosion and bingo no lights. the plates are a common problem for the chrysler mid size cars, mostly the taillight assembly. hope I helped

1999 dodge intrepid. Dash cluster went out as well as the tail lights. But if i pull and HOLD the highbeam switch dash and taillights work . why?

Hello Mike, I suspect you have a bad multi-function switch that operates your headlights, tail lights, turn signals, wipers and washers.

Signal lights are not working, can you show me in a diagram where the flasher is located on a 1996 intrepid?

The turn signal/hazzard flasher is a small unit ( little black box, 5 prongs ) Located between the fuse box and brake peddle on a braket under the drivers side air conditioning duct. At some point and time in 1995 dodge swiched over in the middle of production so some 95 intrepid and 96 and 97 should all be the same.

1996 dodge caravan. the right signal light works sometimes,I have replaced the multi function switch twice with the same results, it only works when it wants to. There does not seem to be a pattern ie:...

I have the same problem. My wiper was not working and I replaced the BCM, now the wiper is working but the left turn signal is not. I believe it is related to the BCM. HL

ALL BREAK LIGHTS NOT WORKING

Have you checked your brake light fuse? If it is good do your rear turn signals work? If you have turn signal and no brake lights it is probably the turn signal switch these are a common problem and your power for your brake lights goes through your turn signal switch. Sometimes it is actually the hazard switch that melts but this can not be serviced alone. If you have no rear turn signals and no break lights it could still be the turn signal switch but is more likely to be a wiring problem in the rear usually trailer wiring T connections. Chiltons has wiring diagrams in there manuals but they are not always accurate. Let me know if I can help you further and please rate.

That is the most likely problem, the little plastic tab that resets the switch breaks.
