On the bottom of the radiator. There will be a little plastic valve that looks like a butterfly. Spin this to loosen it, and it will let coolant flow out.

Need to install a radiator for a pontiac g6

. Check for 2 bolts either side of the radiator at the ends of the bracket that holds the bonnet catch. Some cars have to remove this bracket so that the radiator can just lift straight up and out.

Bad thermostat in pontiac g6

According to the book, the thermostat and housing are one assembly, but I also list a thermostat without.
It's the part next to the water pump with three pipes, one for the lower radiator hose, the heater hose, and the overflow tank.

How tell u got a bad water pump on a 2007 pontaic g6

If it were mine, I'd remove the top radiator hose from the radiator, and use a garden hose for an extension to it, and then have another garden hose ready to keep the radiator filled to the top with water.
You will also need to plug the connection where the radiator hose was taken off.
Take the thermostat out, it is often in the housing where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine block.
Put the housing back on without thermostat.
Now, start the engine.
The water pump should pump a lot of water out of the garden hose, as it tries to go to the top of the radiator. Be sure to keep the radiator full as you do this.
Be blessed.
