Question about Saturn SL1
As far as oil goes, you should be using 5-30 and any good quality brand that you preffer(i like castrol- but that's just me) Manuals can normally be picked up at the dealer for a min charge. I am glad you are getting a manual, most don't get read or are thrown away after the first some what of a read, this will help you maintain your vehicle, and keep it in top notch condition for a long time. According to the info that I have you need to use dexron III in your transmission. Now I will be honest with you , I have never worked on a saturn before, so as far as refilling goes I will tell you from my common sense of things as I know them to be on most cars. As far as A reserve tank for an automatic goes, I have never seen one, but if you are sure its for the transmission fluid I would say to fill it at the tank. Other than that I have always filled the transmission at the dipstick tube with the trans warmed up and in park. The markings have always been on the dipstick. It is most important not to over fill an automatic transmission.

Water temp light may be due to faulty thermostat or low coolant.
Horn not working would either be bad fuse or faulty horn switch in steering wheel or the wire came off the horn.
5w 30 oil
