Can I cut keys at lock smith

I notice from the questions you are asking that your key wont turn in the ignition lock, not that you just need a new key to replace a lost one.
As you may know, most car keys are "chipped" or programmed to a car so just getting one cut doesn't mean it will start the engine, but this may be alright for you just to find out if the ignition barrel itself is okay. If a locksmith can cut a key for you it will be relatively cheap to do and find out about the lock. Most manufacturers require you to purchase one from a dealer and you will need proof of ownership, but this can be costly and even more so if the new correct key wont work due to a faulty lock.
Hope that helps.

Alarm wont stop sounding!

although you can open the door with a key ,unless the alarm system senses a fob key signal it will assume that the door is being opened illegally and will set of the alarm
keys can be cut for all cars requiring a key fob unit but the alarm is not cancelled and the engine will not start
you may have to get another key fob and have it programmed to the ECM system

I have a 1991 Firebird and lost the key, i had a key made from the dealer and the dealer could not find the vats key code said it didnt have one, so he cut a key to the specs provided by gm and the key...

You can bypass the vats rather easily. You can also try buffing that key down a little bit. As with any key, sometimes they are cut too sharp and need to be filed or buffed down a little to mimic normal wear and tear. Here is a link on the Vats security system.

its probably worn as will the key be and the key wont move the internals or the lock, you could try to get a new key cut but it will be only a little better as your copying a worn key but it will help but last resort is to replace key and barell with a new one

Key wont start car

Do you have the old one. The new one must be cut wrong. Or you have a bad lock cylinder.

The anti-theft system is coming on.how to by pass it or cut off

Itry this: f you are reseting a factory alarm, lock and unlock the drivers door with the key. If you don't know the key pad code, look under the dash driver side in left corner there should be a black cover with a sticker with a code on it 6 numbers that is the factory code.
