Question about 1995 GMC Sonoma
Hello the plunger that pushes in when the door is closed to shut off my dome light is gone i dont know what happened to it so my dome lights will not shut off so i went in and disconected it in the dash to create a open so my dome lights wouldnt stay on and they didnt go off so what do i do minuse the idea of getting new plunger for it is it a short instead of a open and if so there are three wires what one is shorted?
Sounds like there might be 2 feeds coming to where you disconnected the switch, I would co to the reckers & get another one from a similar car. Most of them complete the circuit when they close the switch/door open when the door closes then switch it left hanging open.
