My 2002 pontiac grand am making the blinker noise by itself. It is driving me insane. I tried to replace the hazard button but the issue continues any suggestions on how to resolve as I drive a hour to work everyday.

You'll have to replace the blinker arm assembly. I had the same issue with my '99 GT. It turned out that a couple of the electrical traces had arced and fused together. You might be able to fix it yourself if you're electricly inclined. Otherwise it's only a couple of screws to pull off the top cover and then another for the blinker/wiper arm assembly.

Have you changed any bulbs lately. If so they may be in incorrectly. Also flasher may be new & defective.

2002 Gr. Am Blinker's work when they want or not at all

Good Evening. Let's start this out and it is going to sound wierd. Push your hazard button let them flash once then push it back in. Try your turn signals. They will probably work. What the problem is it is in the hazard switch (which is also your turn signal flasher and hazard flasher. Most are under a recall. I hope this helps, and if you have more questions please let me know.
Thanks,
Joey

Makes a constant or intermitten blinking noise even after blinkers are off - have already replaced hazard relay switch

The usual problem is the hazard switch itself. This will usually take care of the problem. If it does not then the only other thing is the multifunction switch.Which is the turn signal switch.Hope this helps.Good luck.

2003 Grand AM GT ticking coming from dash

try removing the hazard flasher, if the clicking persists try the drl relay, unless you can isolate what is ticking the only way to find it is to disable one circuit at a time

There is a clicking noise after blinker is ued. i have 2001 pontiac grand am, 4 door, auto,4cyl. what causes that?

Common problem with Grand ams. Your blinkers are wired into the warning flasher relay. The warning flasher button is located on the center of the dash with a red triangle emblem on it. Behind that button in the dash is a relay that is about 5 inches long. It needs to be replaced. Good luck!

Sounds like blinker lights is always on/2001 grand am se

You can clean the switch without having to replace it. I had the same problem and for about $10 worth of cleaner, grease, and cotton swabs I fixed it. Check this website for very detail cleaning instructions and pictures. You have to register as a user to get the pictures.
