Question about 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage
Ur car is manual or automatic???? if is automatic check automatic fluid level check trasmission mount transmision filter sparg plugs u need do a major tune-up replace air filter,spark plug wires,distributor cap and rotor,if so equipped,check the ignition system,check the chargibng system good luck

Try replacing the two ignition coils on top the engine. My sons 1.8 had a problem with no power and occasional miss, which felt like a transmission problem but was fixed with the coils. We replaced both, but a less expensive route would be to swap out one at a time until you notice the difference.
