Kangoo, gearbox warning light comes on,will not change gear,if i stop and turn ignition off then back on again it is o.k.??....colin.

It's a faulty gearbox interlock switch. Very very common on Kangoos and related Renault models like the Clio.

Contact a Renault dealer; in some territories they were replacing them for free. Otherwise you'll have to replace the switch with a new one and it's really difficult to get at without dropping the engine and gearbox. If it was easy, it wouldn't be a proper Renault!

My car wont start! turn key - nothing.doesnt even

You certainly don't sound like a mechanic :>)

The fluid in the gearbox has no bearing on why your car doesn't start.

The most likely reason for this is that you have a flat battery. Put the headlights on, then turn the key to try and start. Do you have any lights or do they dim considerably. If so, you have a flat battery.

If not, it can be many things, but most likely the anti-theft system.

The high revving and lack of power is most likely caused by sensors in the engine, but could be caused by lots of reasons. You need a garage and diagnostic equipment, but first check the battery.

Renault clio clutch adjust

If the problem is just a clutch cable (clio 55 plate should be cable, not hidraulic), you can adjust or replace the clutch cable quit easily.

If the problem concerns instead the clutch disk, then you will need to put a car up on a bridge, empty the oil and fluid, and remove the clutch that is attached on the engine, on the right lower side.
This is usually not a job for home repair.
