Not sure here but i do understand the problem,so frustrating i know but ?? only suggestion i can make and that is to put it into a dealer because a lot of new cars from 2005 onwards are using encrypted software so your snap on scanner might read a code but its the wrong one---- look on some of these so called wonder tune web sites ,,,,software that was 4500dollars is now selling for 350 ,then ask yourself why??? its obsolete .New cars are put on the computer then its connected via the internet ,with lots of security like finger print recognition .Dealersdo not have the software on a disk like before so thatcopies can be made and then worked over by teh likes of snap on or mac tools or reflex or brainbee

1993 Honda Accord loses power, stumbles I pat the gas and it will pick back up check engine light comes on and it will run fine

why not finish the tuneup, spark and air filter.
also the EGR valve is a 50k service point.
if the EGR sticks open, Just before a stop sign driving
this is a sure sign of a stall ,by EGR. failure (clean it)
my pat gas.
so you are really saying, the rpm drops way below normal?
at idle , then stalls.
but the fast right foot saves the stall?
below 400rpm most cars stall. 300 for sure.
the CEL will flash on just at or just after the stall. RPM based action it is.
and if the stall is easy to save?" is it, super easy,? then the ISC is failing, the idle speed controller.
if on the other hand the skipped fuel tune up, its all nasty bad spark then all hope is lost , for ISC and ALL.
do the tuneup first, see the list?

My gmc sonoma (1996) 2.2 wants to stall when slowing to a stop and i cant figure out if its the IAC or the egr system do you have any suggestions?

the iac, when you start the truck cold does it idle up and then slowly drop? remove the egr valve and make sure theres no carbon holding the valve open, then drive it with the vale hose dissconected and see if it stalls, if it doesnt stall with the valve hose removed and pluged then i would say the egr valve, but if it still stalls then it may be the valve, also make sure the throtle body and the plate is clean, use old tooth brush and some crab cleaner to clean, do this with engine off, try these things first,

Have a 401 code have changed all emission parts and cleaned throttle body any solution

Engine size? year? This code is for insufficient egr, usually caused by clogged egr passeges or a bad DPFE sensor. Open egr valve, if the engine idles real rough or stalls, replace the DPFE sensor. If the idle does not change, then take the egr valve off and clean the passages. You cant just keep changing parts hoping you get lucky and change the correct one.

Stalls at idle no fluxuation in voltage at iac

It is most likely the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve.
The valve is supposed to close when the car is idling and open other wise.

Inspect it / Replace it.

Hope this helps!

Lexus rx300 2002 starts and immediately stalls.

I have a 2001 Lexus RX300 with 120,000 miles on it and I know exactly what is wrong with this car. You either need a new a new Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) or you must clean the one you have with some throttle body cleaner. I cleaned mine a couple of years ago. They are usually good for about 80,000 miles and then they get dirty due to emission controls (smog being recirculated and reburned). The IACV is located near the trottle body on the underside. Check lexusownersclub.com and you will see specific instructions on how to clean this throttle body. It costs you a can of throttle body cleaner and some of your time and this condition will not occur again - I did it!

2001 ford explorer sport,6 cylinder, rough idle and stalling....unplugged mass air sensor...seems to idle fine then...can u help me?

If there is a Auto Zone around your area, have them scan the Explorer for any DTC codes since it's fee of charge. But in the mean time buy a can of MAF cleaner and follow the instructions and also buy a can of Trottle body cleaner and follow the instructions on the can. Clean the MAF and the Throttle body, also try to get the Idle Air Control falve cleaned too which is on the throttle body. So use up the whole can of Throttle body cleaner and it would not hurt to use two cans. Once everything is cleaned that should fix the problem, the other thing to that would cause your poor idle and stalling is a bad or dirty EGR valve which can be cleaned with Carburetor cleaner since it's stronger then the Throttle body cleaner, just remove the EGR and spray the Carbon build away and place back in place. Note: the Carb cleaner is to strong for the gaskets used on the throttle body so don't use it on the throttle body. Good luck and this should help get your Explorer running 100% soon.

Have you checked the EGR valve yet? Or check your Fuel regulator or pump.
