Question about 2004 Oldsmobile Alero
My windows will not go up or dwn. buy there own , only when i use the main switch can i get them to work.I have checked the fuses but that is not the problem,can it be a broken wire or the main switch

I would rather believe that your problem is not in the switch, but in the mechanism itself. In any case the door panel must be removed to diagnose this problem.

A common thing to fial on these- assumning the grid is ok, and wires are still attched to grid, is the rear def / antenna module. It is behind rt. rear quarter trim panel. The modules burn up, and also melt the connector. the module and connector would need to be replaced.
