Question about 1995 Ford Explorer

1 Answer

I have a 1997 Ford Exployer AWD Eddie Bauer doesnt always shift

It seems to be worse when it is cool out. Doesnt want to shift into second or third, it tachs up and then if I let off it will shift. It seems to help if you turn the engine off and restart it. It doesnt do it all the time, but it seems to be getting worse.

I have 1997 explore eddie bauer ed. V8 awd. The computer indicated that "check break light" but my break light working just fine. I think it may have to do with the wiring problem. What can I do?

you may have a poor connection where the bulb contacts the wiring. clean all bulbs and sockets. Also, check the high mount stop lamp too.

Heated seats not working.

You should start by checking your fuses under the dash. Should be a small panel under the dash or on the side of it. The panel has a legend which shows the position and title of each fuse.

I have a 1997 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition with a dead trasmission. I would lke to remove and replace transmission. Could you please give me instuctions.

The best recommendation I can give you is to get the Haynes repair manual on your vehicle from the local auto parts store. There isn't enough room here to explain the whole procedure with safety precautions.
