Change the fuel filter. You more than likely had vapour lock due to insufficient fuel.

Check your battery and battery terminals from corrosion or loose connections. If you see any build up or corrosion on the battery terminals , disconnect, clean and reconnect.
Clean with a wire brush if thats what you have in your garage.
Have your battery checked by an autopart store such as Autozone to confirm battery is holding charge .Should be a free check by Autozone.

Radio fuse blew, speedometer quit working. After replacing fuse the speedometer is very sluggish (goes up fast down slow)

You may need a new Vehicle Speed Sensor. It is located on the Transmission on the Passenger side out-put shaft housing.

2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Speedometer and Tach not working

sit in the drivers seat close the door. with the key off hold the trip odometer button in then while holding the button in turn the key on. if done correctly this will put the MIC (mechanical instrument cluster) into a self test. if the speedometer does not move like the rest of the gauges during this test the MIC must be replaced. if the speedometer does move it is likely your problem will be fixed, however, if the speedometer does move but it does not start working properly then further diagnostic will be needed.

this is usually a sign of a bad starter when you turn the key and will not turn over but not sure why it died when stopping!

Electrical problems with my 96 honda accord

This happens because the removal of the current to the computer or CPU gets de-programed. You may be able to solve the problem (if it comes up gain ) by disconnecting the negative cable with the engine off. Then renstalling it back after a minute. This will reprogram the computer.

Sounds like it could be the throttle position sensor.
