Question about 2001 Volkswagen new Passat
Ive tried fixing the throttle potentiometer and tried cleaning the throttle body and turbo pipe accordingly. But still the problem withe not being ble to go over 3,000 rpm. i have a passat that has the same problem as yours and this is what ive tried so far im a mobile mechanic. also changed the throttle body aswell but still the problem. so next step im try is a full acxtuator test with modus to test them all and see what arise will post results. just wondered if you had any luck with your own.

Pull the intake tube off of the throttle body and look inside if there is a build up of black carbon than you will need to remove and clean MAKE SURE you dont drop any of that **** in to the intake it will mess up your engine.
