Fuel injector nozzles can become clogged over time, which can lead to a sputtering engine, slow acceleration and the car not having enough power. ... Bad or Dirty Spark Plugs: Spark plugs are responsible for igniting the fuel in the combustion chamber.

My h23 dohc v-tec is surging could it be a clogged cadilletic converter

Very low possibility. More likely the fuel injector(s) are worn. They are good for only about 75,000 miles- their expected service life.

if they were recently replaced, check fuel pressure regulator- unplug the vacuum line, or put a gauge on the line and see if it has steady fuel pressure.

If it surges while driving- at highway speed, while throttle position sensor is a possibility- rule out the fuel system. If you have the MAPP sensor, make sure the atmospheric vent is clear, mason bees like these for nesting. If you ahve the Mass airflow sensor- back flush it with contact cleaner to clear the heater wire and the sensor.

A clogged catalytic converter would make acceleration slow, the engine would sound like it was straining, and top speed would be limited.

If your truck has the "vortex" engine, they are known to have issues with the fuel injection system. There is a block that the fuel enters and then it's sent through a "spider leg" system of lines. these lines are plastic and the tips merely clip into the port in the head. I have taken many apart and sprayed the tips with carb cleaner and that has fixed the problem.

for one there wouldn't be air in the fuel system. If you think the fuel injectors are clogged at all then run some injector cleaner through it. If you haven't changed the plugs in wires since owning the vehicle I would do that as well.
Thank you,

For the 6 cylinder engine I got the above result which indicates an O2 sensor is bad or contaminated.

Would change the O2 sensor.

Bucking, slow acceleration, & shuts off

it can be couple of thing Try a fuel injector cleaner or new fuel injectors.it can be vacuum leak. Engines need a vacuum to run especially at idle which is when your car dies. It could be a stuck EGR.
If the check engine light comes on it will store a code so take it to a shop and pay them to read the codes. This may give you a starting point.
