Make sure the fan is coming on when it reaches temp, also make sure radiator is not externally or internally obstructed (it's ten years old). Obviously, check for any external leaks. Problem can also be caused by a bad head gasket. that will need shop testing to determine. (white smoke from tail pipe or water in oil is a good clue) Unless pump is leaking, that is not your problem. Can't tell you what the problem is from here, but those are the items you need to check.

Well it could one of two things, it could be the clutch fan (the radiator fan clutch), or the water pump. Oh, just check to see that there isn't any water in your oil, if it looks like chocolate milk then you have a possible head problem.

Heat in 99 expedition just gets warm

check anti freeze. if its low the air wont get hot. if its not low could be the thermostat not opening all the way. or heater cord could be bad.

99 Ford Expedition, seems to be overheating and shuts off on me. Check engine light on. What could it be

Well, not knowing anything other than what you have posted....the first thing I would do is check the fluid level. If you have done that and it is okay then the thermostat could be the next step. Next would be the water pump.....

While checking things out, have your Expedition sit there in the driveway with the engine running at idle (in park) and with the hood open, see if your fan kicks on....if it doesn't after your engine heats up to operating temperature (about 5-8 minutes running at idle) check the fuse.

This should get you started in the right direction....checking the fan/fuse/fluid is free and can be done immediately!

The heater do not work in my 2001 ford expedition

sounds like your thermostat is not working (stuck closed). if the hose on top is soft after several minutes of engine running this is definitely the problem. good luck
