Question about 1993 Saturn SL
I need to replace the ignition module in a 1993 Saturn. What do I need to do to be able to pull the old module out to replace it with a new? I know in my Taurus there is a way to disengage the lock so that the module can be removed. I'm talking about where the key is inserted to start the vehicle.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

yes it is the ignition coils . po304 is a miss fire on #4 cylinder.wires and plugs should fix the problem unless ignition coil is not firing. there are 2 coils they run 1&4 2 &3 cylinders.

the problem is not the bcm. the passlock security sensor is in the cylinder and housing, if the cyl and or housing was replaced the system must be relearned. if you replace the bcm you still need to relearn the system or it still will not start.
