Question about 1998 Honda Accord
I just did my nieces hondas ignition switch. If I held the key on in start mode the engine ran. When I released the key, to be on the run mode it died. Is this what yours does? If so call the auto parts store to make sure they have it. Its the switch the key contacts when you turn the key.I took 3 or 4 screws out to split the plastic thing that covers the switch. It has 2 kind of tricky screws holding it in and a wire pluged in it with like 6 or so wires on the plug. It was even a little tricky to get out after I disconnected it. Be patient.
I hope this helps you.
