Just the metal lid is available through the dealer for about $25.00 Part # 63910-S02-A00ZZ. However a new lid comes in black primer and would need to be painted, this would cost approx. $50.00

A 2000 civic is a pretty common car. If you call a few salvage yards in your area, I am sure that someone will have one in the color you need for about $25.00 +shipping.

Removing fuel tank

Two steps:
1) Inside the car under the rear seats there is a carpet flap that needs to be lifted, under it you will find a plastic lid. Remove the plastic lid under which you will find the fuel lines and electrical cables for the fuel pump and fuel gauge, remove all. Noting exactly which fuel line went where. You will have to remove all the fuel in the tank. Siphon it off or if only a little is left you can do it in the next stage.
2) Jack up car at the rear on both sides. The fuel tank is held by two metal straps that can be released with two bolts. Losen bolts without removing them completely then loosen all hoses and check that the tank is empty. If it is empty place jack under the tank (with wood to spread the load) and take the weight then remove the bolts so that the straps are free. Slowly let the tank down.

How to replace a door handle on a 2007 hyundai sonata,

our question is vague. If you must replace the exterior handle only, Point 7 in Prakash's excellent answer is enough.
Tip: to repair a broken exterior handle: fill both sides of the broken handle with metal reinforced epoxy like KwikWeld, then push nails (heads clipped off, 4 or 5 cm long, 1.5 or 2 mm diameter) into the small part (over half the length of the nails will stick out), then put the handle back together and wait. The nails will reinforce the epoxy and you'll have several cm of metal totally filling up the handle where it is broken.

1988 Dodge caravan SE. Metal fuel line coming from gas tank to the drivers side rear. what does it connect to? Not talking about the fuel line going to the fuel filter. It fell of and cant find what it...

Sounds like you have a broken fuel return line. The high pressure line goes through the filter and to the injection system, and the unused fuel is returned through the pressure regulator back to the fuel tank.

Shop manual for 2005 Santa Fe 3.5L shows a fuel pump filter in the tank & a standard cylindrical fuel filter outside the tank. Manual states change the "fuel filter" at 45000 mi. Can't find outside...

Change to Exterior filter not the tank filter. The in tank filter is actually a sock located on the Fuel Pump in the tank. This is rarely a problem. The exterior filter is going to be in-line most likely on the passenger side of the vehicle toward the rear. Easiest way to locate it is to trace the fuel lines back tot eh front of the vehicle from the fuel tank.

Hello how are you? I was wondering if you could assist/guide me?

There is a electric solenoid to pull the cable removing the pin to open the lid when the button at the driver door is activated. But this is known for unreliable due to the design. In order to release the lid manually, you can pull the trim panel in the trunk at the right side to get the mechanism releasing the cable. Back yard mechanics should be able to replace the solenoid, but instead let them fabricate a handle at the luggage area to manually release the lid. This will be cheaper and more reliable.
