If you do not have an owner manual for your truck try this website to see if you can download one its www.edmunds.com if all fails stop by your local ford dealer and stop in the parts department and ask if they can download one for you.

1997 nissan pu emergency flashers come on when i turn on turn signals

Sounds like you need a new turn signal switch. On most newer vehicles the turn signal and 4 ways are all together in one assembly. Sadly everything is tied together. Good luck.

On 2001 Ford Truck Ranger 2WD 4.0L EFI SOHC 6cyl the Flasher is located front seating area, behind steering column cover, onleft hand side of steering column.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

You may need to replace the flasher, the turn signals use a different flasher but the same wireing so that would be the first place i would start.

Check all the lights, I know on my 85 the circet is open if more then two bulbs are burnt out. As soon as I changed the two bad bulbs the rest kicked in. Didn't make much since but it worked for me.

Blinkers stopped working

Your F--150 has 2 flashers, emergency and turn signal. Both are mounted on the fuse block under the dash. The turn signal flasher is mounted on the front of the fuse panel, the emergency flasher is mounted on the rear of the fuse panel. so replace the turn signal flasher should solve the problem. Let me know how it goes.
