Question about 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2WD
On some days i will try to start it but it won't start it will only click as if the battery were dead but the battery it fully charged. After a while it will start but strugling.what could it be?THANKS
Could be weak solenoid. It is a magnatized cylinder with a metal piston and a fork. The fork moves the starter gear out to engage with flywheel. The solonoid can be weak or the starter brushes (little magnets inside rub to make electricity) may be wearing out. You can buy rebuild kits for these for $4 Much cheaper but more work to dismantle. Or get new starter and solenoid from scrap yard for $40 or new for $120
