07 dodge ram 1500 did not come equipment with fog lamps so I order after market ones and wirning harness and no power going to lights

Not sure I understand your question.
Since around 2001 car makers have switched to having the headlight switch act as the ground instead of power source to the headlights. Some also use a relay for power.
So you would need to find a power source controlled by the key, connect a relay to battery power, and turn the relay on with another switch going to ground. Or use the extra switch to power the relay from the key. Relays use two sources for power, one for ground, and the fourth terminal goes to the device you are powering such as the fog lights.

I just bought a 2009 dodge ram without fog lights i bought a bumper with fog light an switch them out but i need to know how to connect the lights to the factory switch inside what do i need to do

If your PU didn't come with factory installed fog lights then you will need to replace your headlight switch with a fog light enabled headlight switch.

Here is a link to the factory dealer-installed instructions.....

http://www.mopardodge.com/accessories/Instructions/82208102AC_IFU.pdf

You only need to get the components you don't already have. The headlight switch that is fog enabled will pull out for fog light operation, if yous doesn't you need to replace the switch and do some wiring as shown in the pdf file linked above.

Hope this helps!

2004 dodge fog lights flicker when first turned on then usually stay on after that. Last few times they stayed on when the lights were turned off at first thought it was a bad ground now leaning towards...

Probable causes:
The bulb is ready to go--get it replaced
Bulb is loose due to being hit ---get it replaced
A switching relay may be going bad .
Your lights switch may need replacement .

03 Jeep Wrangler fog lights won't turn on

There seems to be a problem on the power side. You should have at least one terminal at the relay that is hot. The switch activates the relay and transfers the power from the "live" terminal to the hot lead to the lights. Good news is you can completely disconnect fog lights and make your own harness (including a relay) and use a push button or toggle switch on the dash, just like the aftermarket add on lights use! (and it's likely cheaper and more reliable than the original setup)

Dodge dakota selector switch and relay switch

A selector switch is what you use to turn on or off a circuit such as the lights or wipers. A relay switch is used by a circuit that has a large current draw and a relay uses a small source of current to control a large usage of current. Most fog lights use a relay to control the fog lights. You turn the fog light switch on (that is a selector switch) and the current from that circuit then activates a relay switch to let the larger current draw that the fog lights use go to the fog lights and you have light. A relay also controls if the fog lights are on when the bright lights are on. (on most cars if you turn the bright headlights on the fog lights will go out until you go back to the regular lights)

Hope that helps.
Good Luck

check the connections on the lamps, or possibly a bad dimmer switch.
