Alright, it can be quite a Job. Starting of course by removing the door cover you can almost immeditaly take out the old one, its getting the new one in thats the triky part. you have to bend the fusing rods over about a half an inch because any new ones they make now are bigger than the stock ones. then you have to re route the converter ions to the back-up power control to get optimum power for your window. then you have to make sure the new motor is in place becuase it can fall out easily, put a screw right threw it and into the door. that should do it!

Two possible options here depending on which transmission you have. You will need to remocve the carpet or rubber mat on the floorboard. Under that you will have a stamped steel piece that removes from the floor. Then you will either have to drive a roll pin out of the tower holding the stick or it could be a push and twist on the collar. Worst case would be to remove the bolts that secure the shift tower to the tranny. If that is the case- make sure you put the tranny into neutral before removing the top cover. It will make it easier for you to install again. The stick and the shift forks will just come out as an assembly. Be sure to cover the tranny after you remove the top plate to prevent dirt from entering the tranny.

1988 Ford F-150 ignition lock cylinder replacement when you lose the keys, anyone know a simple way to replace it when you don't have the keys?

No real simple way. Steering wheel removal is required and drilling out the retainer pin .
Taking out the cylinder from the outside is possible but damage to the steering column is a risk and lots of patience with a die grinder is needed.
