Question about 2006 Chevrolet Malibu
The car will be running fine and then the warning engine power reduced displays and the car slows itself down to less than 20 MPH and stays like this for a while.
You have a build up of oil/water in the resevoir on your air intake duct, take the two clamps off, one on the throttle body, the other off the air filter box and spray the duct work with brake fluid cleaner (outside if possible) make sure you spray the resevoir, then wipe clean your throttle body with a cloth sprayed with carb cleaner. After the duct work is dry reassemble, clear your codes with a code reader and you should be good to go.
