Could be an electrical short somewhere, or the frequent culprit, a dome light or some other small light that is staying on all of the time. I am assuming when you replaced the battery they did a charging test to make sure your alternator is properly functioning? Most auto parts stores like Autozone will do this test for free.

Have you checked your alternator? the battery terminals should read 13-14V when the car is running. Anything lower and it's not fully charging your battery. Anything higher and it's overcharging and damaging your battery (reducing life)

2003 ford expedition starts after couple trys then runs great just having probles starting

The light is supposed to be on when the alternator is not charging the battery, IE not producing more power than the battery already has.
You may have to try to catch the system when the light is on to test output.
Do you know what fuel pressure is before and after cranking ? You could be loosing fuel pressure back into the tank, or it could be something electrical.

The battery keeps running down even though I shut everything off

Well make sure everything is off. I know you said that but just be sure. Take car to dark place. While car is NOT running Disconnect battery + terminal. And tap + terminal on the + battery post and see if there is a small spark. If there is a spark? There is something left on somewhere on or in the car. if no spark? Battery or alteranator might be junk. Test the alternator by starting the car and while it is running remove the positive cable from the battery . If the car stays running the alternator is good and the battery is bad. If the car stalls when removing the terminal? The alternator is bad .

On my 2000 expedition battery light came on, took alt. off had checked an they told me it was good, put back in car battery light still on

"They" are probably mistaken. You can't always test every internal component of the alternator on the test bench. I would try a new unit, keep it clean and maybe you can return it if you know a friendly parts supplier.

My 2000 ford expedition has a shortage that keeps draining my battery

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Put an ammeter between the negative battery terminal and the disconnected cable. Remove fuses one at a time and look for a large drop in current. The fuse with the big drop is on the circuit with the short.

Note that even with the ignition off the radio, the alarm, and the remote entry will pull a few milliamps each. The control module might also draw some power.

After locating the circuit with the problem you need to check wiring and components for shorts.

A service manual (Haynes, Chilton, etc.) with a wiring diagram is helpful. Check your local auto parts store for manuals.

I have a 2000 Ford Expedition. The battery was

The battery light is telling you that you are running off the battery, and you have a problem with your charging system. An easy way to check your alternator is to get a volt meter, and measure the voltage of your fully charged battery. with your expedition not running, it should read about 12.6 volts. When you start your expedition, it should read approx 14 volts if your alternator is working properly.
Of course, check all of your connections first, and most auto parts stores will check your alternator out for free, so they might have a chance to sell you one!

2000 Ford expidition lights pulse when engine is running. New alternater new battery. What can cause this?

Two main things can cause this to happen. One check your alternator belt and make sure it is not loose. Second have the voltage regulator checked, most are built into the alternators now a days. Even though yours is new the regulator may not be working properly. Never assume just because it is a new one that it works since most 'new' alternators are rebuilt and not brand new.
