2000 Chevy Cavalier will not start after accident

My 2000 Chevy Cavalier will not start after I was in an accident. I hydroplaned and hit a guardrail and there is damage on the front left side. The turn signal light is busted out and the hood is dented some as well as cosmetic damage and some damage to the rims. But, I am most concerned that the car will not start. Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this? Thank you for your time :)

There is a g force sensor in the fender. there is a fuel shutoff system in place to shut off the fuel pump in case of an accident on most newer cars.
i would call gm and ask if that is the case with your car.
same thing applies if the airbags are deployed.

there`s no reset for this. what has probably happened is its gone into relearn and you just have to drive it until it learns your driving habit and runs properly.

I have a bent rear passenger side tire due to an accident, how do I fix it?

sounds like a hard hit ur problems can be an accumulation of one or more of the following bent rim --,bent and or broken hub,-- spindle bent or broken, shock, strut bent,broken--unibody [frame]bent ---u will have to remove wheel and look at the parts and see which is damaged also open trunk and look at the floor for bends and wrinkles also look at rear from back and look at the body for straightness unless u have a straightener for the unibody to fix body and or frame should be done by shop that is trained in repairs r the parts which ever part or parts need to be replaced they are all bolt in only worry would be replacing the strut if ur chevy came with that option most had a shock

'00 chevy cavalier door problems i have a 4 door 1 is stuck shut in rear driver side, rear peassenger side may or maynot open from outside but open with inside handle so far.Front passenger side is...

problems with 3 out of 4 doors? Has your vehicle been in an accident just before these problem started? Cavaliers are known for problems but I have never heard of this type of situation unless the vehicle has been in an accident and the body wasn't realigned properly or verified.

Typically when you get a door that opens from one handle and not the other the problem is inside the door and part of the latch assembly has either broken or come apart. To fix it you have to open up the door itself and get to those controls.

The reason I asked about the vehicle being in an accident is because you described the door opening on it's own. Now that could have been because it didn't catch correctly but with all the other problems you mentioned I am concerned that the doors are out of aligned.
