Headlight assembly

You have to remove or half remove the front bumper. After you do that the bolts retaining the headlight bucket should be exposed. The screws/bolts you come across will probably be: 5.5mm, 8mm, 10mm, 13mm, and maybe some larger sizes, but it is all metric.

Idles too high.

most likely a sticking idle air control motor. It is the round log solenoid bolted on the side of the throttle body. Try tapping it with a hammer first to see if this un-sticks it. If so this is your problem and replace it.

How do I replace the air pump on a '93 thunderbird 5.0L V8?

yes because there isn't enough room to remove it through the bottom so u will have to remove the air intake going to ur air filter box and the water hose going to ur radiator and the fan cowling but u don't have to totally remove the fan cowling just unbolt it and the pump should fit. I did this about a week ago it was that hard either. But I had a stripped bolt so I was a pain to get to the bolt. I wound up cutting my bolt off and replacing it with a new one.
