I have 98 merc sable been running fine than my wife fueled up than it stop running I checked fuel pump its working what else could be the problem?

really bad fuel (lots of water), clogged fuel filter, ignition system failure

eliminate one at a time - change filter then test, check ignition components & wiring, drain fuel tank -- last resort due to danger

Go back to where she filled it up and verify what gas pump was used to fill the car --- maybe got diesel?

1992 olds cutlass supreme wont accelerate when pushing the gas pedal

Check oil first, Low oil sensor will shut down if more than a quart low. Change fuel filter, could be fuel starvation, change the air filter. stopped up air filter will put MAF sensor out of range. PERFORM OBDII SCAN SOON.

94 Mercury sable does not start. had the battery and starter checked. Fuel pump is engaging, and just changed the fuel filter. Any ideas?

if fuel is being delivered, look for an ignition problem (module, relay, distributor). you need 3 things to fire up an engine 1 compression 2 fuel 3 spark

What is an ignation tune up for a 99 Merc. Gnd.

A full ignition tune up would be new spark plugs and wires.A cap and rotor if it has those. Do any fuel system cleaning before changing the plugs.

The engine dies when slowing down or turning

How long have you been driving? Have you had the fuel filter replaced? It sounds as if may be a fuel delivery issue.
