If your headlights are on during the day when the car is on, then odds are it has a DRL. The location varies with car, but I believe Nissan has it mounted somewhere near the radiator

Looking for ecu (computer) diagram. were is it located on the nissan xterra 2002. problem is will not start and ive done changed the starter and a mechinic told me that it was either the ecu or igention...

Frist is I am assumming the truck does not crank at all? I would check on the pass fron of the car there should be a realy box and if you take off the top and turn it over you will see where it shows you where the starter relay is. you should eb able to jump that relay with out it in and then try to crank the truck. it might just be a bad relay. Get back to me. Cheers.

Xterra car quit running. had no spark @ distributor. replaced crank sensor and got spark. no gas pressure. replaced fuel pump, new one do not work. no power to it. checked fuses/relays, no luck. ran...

Yes, there is fuel pump relay, which is generally located on the passenger side kick panel. But in your case, the fuel pump relay on 2002 model Xterra is indeed located under the dash around the steering wheel, but no you don't need to remove the cover just lay in floor and you can see it, it will slide off a bracket and you can remove and replace it.
Good Luck!

2002 Nissan Xterra will not start. It acts like it needs gas but it doesnt. It Just died unexpectantly while driving.

most likely the fuel pump. First check fuel pump relay, listen for pump coming on when you turn on the switch. If it does, try changing the fuel filter next.

Where does the flasher relay go on a 2002 nissan exterra?

I have been searching for this same answer with little to no luck. It appears that on 2001, it's up above the drivers side brake pedal. However, I could not find it there. The wiring diagram I looked at showed it to be literally in the middle of the wiring harness, (behind the stereo). I have not had the gumption to try and find it, but that's where it appears to be. I love my Xterra, but hate that the company sees fit to put an essential relay well out of reach. There is no earthly reason this relay is not "plug-n-play" right around the fuse panel...Totally stupid...
