2007 rear regulator broken

I have a 2007 jeep liberty with 38.000 miles and have already replaced the 2 front regulators , when it was still under warranty, and now the rear has broken ..I'm being told that the part must be replaced with not only the regulator and motor , but the glass also ..i think this is crazy since there is nothing wrong with the glass.can someone help me on this ? Since its out of warranty i'm doing this myself .

Some dealers have the old style regulater but the new regulater has been redesigned and won't fit with the old window I know it sucks big time. THe best advise I can give u is to call Chrysler and see if they will good will it under warenty they do that with some long time custumers to keep them happy. Good luck

Window regular goes out on 2 different windows with only 50,000 miles.

Very common problem, i have a customer have 2 go out under 36k miles and fixed under warranty and 1 after warranty. There is a permanent solution, do a web search for jeep liberty window regulator and a repair kit pops up under google advertising, a local shop can install it for you or you can do it yourself
