Question about 1996 Volvo 850
I think there is no other alternative for the gas cap having a release cap. First try locking and unlocking the car a couple times. if that doesn't
work you may have to get to the lock motor on the fuel door. if you
have a sedan it's easier. remove the plastic clips holding the fabric
liner on in the trunk and pull it away. the motor should be right
behind the door on the right rear fender. reach up and manually push
back the plunger that goes into the door. to keep this from happening
again i usually unplug the motor. on the wagons, the same thing will
need done but you must remove a lot move of the rear interior to get to
