1994- Chevy Cavalier V6 3.1 engine - leaking oil problem. every 2 months I am replacing the oil because it leaks

it is probably the o-ring in your oil pump. I have the exact problem in my Cavalier. it is a little expensive to fix and I believe you practically have to pull the motor to replace it. Just keep oil in it and you might want to wash down the motor compartment area to cut down the oil spray areas. Don't use a cleaner that will make it too clean because with a motor that oil you may cause more leaks. Sometimes with an old motor you need the build-up around certain sealed parts to fill gaps because it is an older motor. I had that problem with my Old mustang may she RIP, i used a detergent oil because I was told to and it started leaking 3 - 4 qts. of oil weekly and didn't before I used the detergent oil.

95 nHonda Passport water leak, pump body is dry

The pump may leaking from a weep hole at the bottom of the pump. If the shaft seal goes bad, the hole allows the anti-freeze to leak out.

What might be the source of an antifreeze leak? It appears to be coming from the engine front up and to the left of the oil filter on my V6, '95 Camry. I find the small puddle after the car has stopped,...

yes it could be a bypass hose it could be a freeze out plug going bad it may be a bad head gasket it may be a bad water pump these are a few items to check.

Need to replace gasket on the external oil pump, 95 tauras 3.8 v6

I owned a 95 Taurus for several years and done my own maint. I never heard of an external oil pump. The pump is in the oil pan and runs off the cam shaft. To replace it you have to pull the oil pan. After that it is fairly easy. Take out the bolts and it will come out. There are no springs to worry about. If you were talking about some other pump let me know.

You mean the oil filter, don't you? The filter needs to be tightened or replaced. It is located passenger side, looking up from underneath the car you will see it tucked away towards the front of the car, passenger side. Good luck!
