How can start my car parked in revers canot shift to park or n

You will have to tow the car out to a auto transmission specialist as the gears have seized in the gear box. You will cause more damage if you over ride the engine controls. The torque converter must be stuck.

Why does my car make noise on neutral but when i hit the gas pedal it goes away?

You need to locate the source of noise first , it seems to noise of drive line only. Which consist of flywheel , clutch system and gear box.
1) In case you are having same problem with clutch engaged or disengaged position ( while throttle is on) , then there is a possible problem with the neutral gear ( if it is not abnormal but just high in magnitude than it was previously than consider replacing the transmission oil) otherwise get the gear box checked with a transmission specialist.
2) In case you are having the noise problem only when clutch is engaged than u may consider to refit the clutch plate and pressure plate , there could be a problem of torquing.

Auto transmission gear lights on parmanently

If the car runs right then you most likely have a problem with the switch box on the gearbox- probably water ingress.

Transmission does not shift into gear at times even though rpms go up. if i shift to neutral and back to drive real quick , transmission shifts into drive gear ok.

its the velve block inside the gearbox its sticking it needs a strip down and new seals fitted,,,thats pricy too,,,,there is an oil that you could try out first,,its called "smooth shift" or "auto box shift" its just tiped into the gearbox

S type gearbox fault light keeps coming up on the dashboard the first time there was a smell of burning but car still changes gear ok

Check the fluid on your transmission dip stick. The engine should be running in 'park' to check the level. More important is the colour. The fluid should be red. If it is slightly brown and smells burnt it is a sign that one of the brake bands has been slipping causing wear, friction and therefore heat. If caramelized change the fluid and the (internal) transmission fluid filter. Consult with an auto transmission specialist who should be able to assess the state of the transmission from the debris trapped by the filter.

Auto transmition wont go into 3rd and 4th gear

I had the same problem I changed the transmission fluid & put a new filter in the trans, this fixed it good until I put my foot down to overtake the trans kicked down to 2nd gear & the hold light started flashing again & the trans started slipping again. I stressed over it for a day or 2 & then I took it out for a drive & thrashed it, Low & behold it came right. When you change fluid its impossible to get all the old fluid out because the torque converter holds a liter or two under pressure, so when I put my foot down some of the gunk blew through & blocked the pump it looses pressure & cant change gear. You need to get it flushed by a transmission specialist

Probably needs a gearbox rebuild. Take it to a specialist or you may waste a lot of money using odd job mechanics.
