SOURCE: how to replace fuel pump on 2001 gmc pickup 3/4

the fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. some techs just lower the fuel tank down, others remove the bed. personaly dropping the tank is harder, but lifting off the bed requires about 4 strong people.

SOURCE: I have a 2005 gmc serria with 60k miles, replaced

OK, I would maybe try to jack up the front, and turn the steering wheel left and right a few times and check for the fluid level to make sure it's not low.

Try to bleed again, if necessary.

How does it sound?

I'm leaking coolint from the bottom of my truck and coolint leaked on to my floor inside I need to know how to bypass my heater core thank you for your help and time Oh ya almost for got I have a 2000 gmc...

Purchase a 5/8 to 3/4 hose union and connect the two heater hoses to it. Just remove the two hoses from the heater core to do this. You will not have heat this way although the leak will be fixed
The union can be purchased at most NAPA Auto parts Stores

You need to remove first the power steering belt, the 3 or 4 screews, after that make sure you reinstall the new pump and bleed it correctly.
