Locate the pump (two fairly large hoses go to it and to the steering rack and pinion box). Either the pump has a filler cap on top of the pump, or there is a small hose coming from the pump and it runs up to a container with a cap on top. The cap may or may not have identification on it. There should be a level line on the container, or a dipstick if the filler is on the pump.

You will have to raise & support the vehicle

Remove the injector fuses-- so it won't start

Remove the power steering cooler return hose at
reservoir & add a hose to a bottle under vehicle

On a Honda you need Dealer Only Fluid & add to
container, then crank the motor to flush out the brake fluid

It may work or it may have damaged the seals in the entire
system

Why add fluid in the first place

No systems uses fluid--so is there a leak to be repaired

If flushing it works-- add the Lubgard Purple (Honda Only)
& Yellow Bottle additive or whatever the dealer has

Time to change the power steering fluid. Some cars use power steering fluid, while other cars use transmission fluid. Do not use the wrong fluid in your car or you will have even bigger problems.

1992 lexis car replaced thepowersteering pump now it won't turn at all

bleed power steering with engine off pour power steering fluid in the power steering reservoir until fluid stay at full mark on powersteering pump dip stick.wait few minutes then check powersteering fluid again if low add little more when fluid level stop dropping crank vechicle turn steering left to right with out a stop turn steering wheel all the way to the left to all way to right for minute until air bubbles leave the powersteering fluid. when steering wheel feel normal stop engine check check power steering fluid should be at full hot mark if fluid level dont drop air is out the system. dont overfill powersteering reservoir if so you will blow front seal.dont drive vechicle if steering dont feel normal have vechicle towed in garage.

That means your powersteering is out of fluid. This could possibly be a leak in the powersteering pump or it could be as simple as add more fluid.
