I assume you are not getting an error displayed on the radio.There are many reasons the player may have failed, from a fuse problem (there may be a blown inline fuse on the power feed attached to the player) to a jammed disk or defective optical reader. In any case, an error should be displayed on the radio. If nothing happens when you press the eject button, I suggest you visit a dealer who should be able to manually eject the cassette.
It would not be possible that a detail cleaning would cause that to happen. When you have no display on the screen it is usually the LCD display that has failed. Unfortunately that means a new radio.
Check all fuses inside and outside of the jeep and also try to disconnect the battery for 3-30 minutes and then hook it back up,and make sure if you have an alarm that its turned off.then try and see if it works then.Remember and try not to arc the battery terminal when you put it back together.
That might be true. I'm not sure, but it could be the CD because it's scratched up. it is probably because the battery was disconnected. Hope this helps!?
If the radio works but the CD player doesn't it's something internal to the unit. The radio and CD player get their power source from the same wire that goes into the unit.
make sure the display does not say off-if it does turn key all the way forward without starting the car with the radio on,check it half 45 min or 1hr and it should read code on display -enter code then press cd button,good luck
