Question about 2003 BMW 325
01 bmw 325i. Rear ended while parked. Body shop replaced the rear bumper, tail lights, trunk lid, and also did some welding in the truck to straighten it out a little bit. Got the car and now it 'dies' after 2-3 days. Sometimes after 1 week. Took it back to the body shop per insurance. Body shop said that I need a new alternator and battery. normal wear and tear and not related. ok. replaced alternator and battery. It still does the same thing. Took it to a certified bmw mechanic. They had my car for 3 weeks! Charged me $130 for diagnostic testing and said they couldn't find anything. Got the car back and it continues to do the same thing. Please help!
Humm ...Didn't die before the accident? now dies? BMW has good mechanics, but could not find any problem???. I gota think that it is related to the rear ending, but how? I would look for loose connections, Battery Ground that might have been removed before welding.Battery terminals, Any primary connections that may not be making 100% contact . It's worth a try.Good Luck
