You need to go to the dealer. They will need to access your computer. Or call a locksmith and they will have all the answers you need

What type of fluid do I need to use in a 2001 beetle 2.0L manual transmission

You look in your owners manual & only use what it says

If you have to-- stop at a dealer & have them look it up

Best be in the service bay & see the info or I wouldn't
trust them either

Changed the battery on 2001 AudiA4, 1.8t, won't start now

So you changed the battery in the key? and this is the problem i suspect that you have lost the chip out of the key when you took the key apart to change the battery ,dont worry its happens to the best of us the phone rings or you get distracted -if you have lost the chip then try the spare key if you do not have one call the dealer and have a spare key and a new chip in your key programmed up-

What does it mean when 2001 beetle starts but shuts of immediately after. Oil is fine and has gas.

IT MEANS THAT YOUR CAR IS NOT RECOGNISING THE KEY,try the spare.then try putting the key in the trunk lock and turning it to the left,(reset alarm/immobiliser)if that dont work you will need to get the car recalibated on the VW diagnostic computer(not a code reader)have you dropped the key or had it placed next to magetic field???

Need Solved MY 2001 Volkswagen Beetle. Put the key in turned it with clutch not engaged. Then engaged the clutch. suddenly, I lost all electric power. Nothing. NO dome light, No head lights, No display....

check your fuses sounds like one popped and needs replacing.easier if done with a test light turn the key to on and test light should light up as you touch on both sides of the fuse if not fuse is bad another way is to pull out one at at ime and visually checking them. good luck.

2001 beetle with a code of glow plug heater CKT A malfuntion...dont know what to do

P0380 right ?? with a cold car pull the harness off the plugs and first check that the harness gives out 12v when the key is turned on. you gotta be quick so having 2 people helps a lot. if no juice here the GP relay might be shot.... then use an ohm meter to check the resistance of the plugs. all 4 should be exact same reading. if the computer sees an imbalance between plugs it trips a code. if the plugs are old replace them anyway.

Radio removel need to get code to reprogram

Code came with black plastic tag with your keys, it's also in the radio manual as a card tear off. If you don't have the first two then check where your spare tire well is, a white label with all info of your car can be found in there.
