Question about 2009 BMW 3 Series
Just bought a 1997 bmw 316i compact, runs perfectly but internal heater does not warm up! has somone removed the thermostat???
This model has a dodgy stat, the 2 little lugs which hold the stat centre to the plastic case can break off this lets the water bypass and so it doesnt heat properly

It may be possible that your heater core was faulty and some has by passed it. open hood and check for incoming and outgoing heater hoses into firewall(dash of car). it is also possible that the heater core is plugged, try getting your cooling system flushed
