The only way to do this if it is possible at all is to have the dealer go into the computer programming and disable it. This is only possible on some makes and models, most it can't be disabled for safety reason and legal reasons, being if you have a blow out due to low tire pressure or an accident then the dealer who disabled the TPMS could be held responsible. Since you did not include any make model or year information that is about all I can offer.
1) go to a gas station with an air pump. Unless u have an inflator/compressor at home with the tireattachment
2) lower all 5 air pressures including the spare in the trunk to maybe about 28 PSI
3) now reset the TPMS (on the 07 there is a button to "calibrate" the TPMS and it is located under the dash. I presume it is the same on the 08.)
4) now bring the pressue back up to 30/32 or whatever it says on the door area
If this doesn't work, it is possible u have a defective TPMS
but my bet right now would be that someone "calibrated" the TPMS to the current tire pressure so the light is constantly on. It happened to me before when my daughter was messing around and hit that button.
"Can you disable the tpms on a peugeot 407" yes, you can, using a Lexia/PPS interface, and, in the diagbox software, you can disable the tpms. Your Peugeot dealer can do it this way too.
Hi there: First I suggest checked all pressure levels in the tires and then re-initialized the TPWS system. The buttom to do this on a 2007 ES350 is slightly out of site under the driver's side of the dash just past the Air Bag System panel. Also, I suggest read instructions in the Owner's Manual. Aboiut TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor) location check the spare.
I recommend that the TPMS be initialized every time tire pressure is changed.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.
I don't know if there is a problem with your TPMS receiver (on dash board), or your TPMS sensor is disable (in four tire). If it's the receiver problem, You have to go to the dealer ship to solve the problem. If it's the sensor problem. You can go to the dealer ship to let them find which sensor or sensors are fault, And replace them by the new one then doing the reset process.
The low tire pressure monitor (TPMS) is part of the valve stem on the rims of vehicles with TPMS. You will need to install the original valve stems from your original wheels onto your new rims and then the problem should go away. If you no longer HAVE all the original stems (spare can be included! if your TPMS monitored the spare, you have to have it and it has to be aired up!), you will have to BUY original or equivalent stems, then havet hem reprogrammed to match the car (this can be done with a TPMS tool or a factory scantool).
There are no other solutions. That or you can disable the TPMS system readout on some vehicles by removing a fuse or using a disable procedure in the owners manual or factory service manual
